This week I’m taking a break Disconnecting to Reconnect, and I thought I’d bless you all with my VERY FIRST BIGGER PICTURE MOMENT.

This morning if you were heading into downtown IC you might have seen a silver Sonata bouncing up and down with hands flailing wildly in the air.
Your first instinct would be Uh-oh who was having a fit which on most days is a regular occurrence. But today…today we danced!
We danced in the car on the way to school.
Sometimes we roll like that.
We crank the tunes and sing (mostly me) with E and G as my back up dancers. Our arms wave to the beat; we play air drums and weave our heads from side to side (which is super cute when G does it.)
Today though was different, something happened and I cried while we danced (cheesy I know). But at that particular moment while we were giggling and dancing the chaos called “My Life” melted away. I forgot we were running late, that B2 is sick, that E has been having “issues” at school and that work is CRAZY.
For once in my life I just drank in the moment and savored every drop. And it was good.

A nice reminder that we need to just keep dancing.

Each Thursday, we come together to celebrate living life with intention by capturing a glimmer of the bigger picture through a simple moment. Have you found yourself in such a moment lately? Share it with us!
Live. Capture. Share. Encourage.
This week we’re linking up at Hyacynth’s!
BE SURE TO CATCH HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE PREVIOUS WEEK ON BIGGER PICTURE BLOGS!
And head there for your daily dose of creativity: prompts for photos, for words, for inspiration, and for a life lived mindfully!

Such a beautiful first moment! I will need this in about three weeks… although it will probably be more like “just keep breathing.” The dancing will hopefully come later.

Love this – sometimes we DO need to remember to just keep dancing…or simply take the moment, in the midst of all the craziness, to dance and drink up the moment.
