Another gorgeous sunny day means another day full of productivity and smiles. 😃
Little Red slept through the night and it was magical. I slept straight through until my alarm went off at 6 am. Ahhhh sweet, sweet sleep. It makes everything better.
I tried a mid-morning run and it was a flop. I really perform much better in the early morning. I attribute it to my brain not being awake. I’m just glad I’m still getting after it.
It would be so easy to just give up, and stop hitting the “gym”. However, at this point, it’s more about mental health than physical health.
What are you doing for your mental health?
Even little things can make a big difference, like a drive-thru latte, a bouquet of flowers, a zoom chat with a friend, a TikTok dance session, binge-watching Tiger King, making chalk hearts on the driveway, or chilling with your 4-legged fur baby.
My challenge to you this week is to do something for you! ❤️
If you or someone you love is struggling with their mental health please contact the Crisis Center or reach out for help. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…we are in this together and we are stronger together. ❤️ 💪🏻

Hello Monday!
You are still a struggle. We have a young redhead who keeps having nightmares and waking us up at 3 am. It’s terribly hard for me to get back to sleep once I wake up.
My brain refuses to turn off and I keep thinking of the new world we are living in. It’s a scary and confusing time. So of course, my brain wants to solve all the world’s problems at 3 am 🙄 Come on brain get your shit together.
On a lighter note, I’m just calling this early summer. This is exactly what it’s like working from home with kids during the summer. It was easier to reframe it today since it was sunny and warm. ☀️
The kids spent hours outside. I got some work done and we all had a few laughs in the process. 😁
So cheers to an early summer 🙌🏻 Also this summer doesn’t include trying to fit into a swimsuit, so winning.

Today I was lazy. I chilled with the kid and watched The Masked Singer and The Bold Type. It was nice.
Sundays are usually spent prepping for the week. Laying out my calendar, planning work appointments, and to-do lists. It wasn’t much different although my calendar is emptier.
Since I had some open times, I put a call out for virtual coffee dates and the response was overwhelming. We are all craving connection right now. So get out there and continue being social from a distance. It will be the best part of your week. ❤️
I’d also like to bring up something I’ve been seeing A LOT on the Interwebs. It called crisis criticism. Here’s the deal we all react to a crisis in different ways: humor, memes, political posts, rants, funny videos, sadness, or in my case just inquiring where to get a Starbucks cold brew.
Please don’t attack people for trying to find normalcy in the chaos. For posting funny things. For not being positive…this one just burns me.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE POSITIVE 💯 % OF THE TIME
ESPECIALLY DURING A CRISIS.
Please allow people their feelings. ❤️
As we found out today this is going to last another month. So be kind to one another and grant each other grace.
