Introducing: The Mom Style Files

Melissa and I are on a mission! {Cue Mission Impossible music}

A mission to be cute and fashionable moms. It doesn’t have to cost a lot, it doesn’t have to be a big process, it just has to be real. Real mom fashion that can survive toddler, snot, work, school, life.

As much as I love yoga pants, they aren’t work place appropriate. My clothes shopping has been reduced to a quick sweater grab from Target as I buy milk and diapers. And my sense of fashion consists of black pants, sweater set and gray pants and sweater set. BORING…it’s time break out of the rut, and instead of pinning My Style I need to live it.

The Mom Style files are going to showcase real moms and real challenges that you can choose to join in on if you want. Simple, small, attainable challenges that we can accomplish to make our lives a little more fashionable. Taking those few minutes to focus on us. We’re also going to feature you, and you and you! That’s right other, REAL fashionable moms. It all kicks off next week HERE, our theme Bangin’ Style – yep, we’re starting with a bang {pun intended} and trying out some new {hair} styles. Will you join us?

Are you a fashionable mom? Do you want to be featured? Next month’s challenge is going to be Skirting The Issue. If you have a love of skirts and want to be featured email me!

  1. I am not a skirt girl but I SO need to amp up my wardrobe. I love my yoga pants and the GapFit line for shirts… wear them all the time with a sweatshirt over top.
    When I go out to dinner with my hottie husband… it’s between my blinged out MissMe jeans or my Banana Republic skinny jeans that are 3 years old and starting to fray in the worst places….. I have a few tops but nothing to sing about. And shoes…. just a couple that get me by.
    I want stylish affordable and durable clothing/shoes. I have been debating on a new pair of jeans but I feel especially fat this time of year and since I haven’t been working out like I should…. I am at my largest. Bleck.

    Anyway. I love to read your posts when I have a few minutes of me time 🙂
    I look forward to seeing what you post on the mom styles. I need the inspiration!!

    Cheers and Love

  2. I’ve been debating on getting a haircut for a couple months now. As much as I want to cut it short again, I know I will kick myself for not letting it grow out. Maybe I will compromise and jump on the big bang bandwagon. Yeee Haaaw!
