Keeping Life in Perspective: BPM

My stomach drops.

Tears roll down my cheeks.

Laughter fills the air.

Anger boils inside my body.

Life has been an emotional roller coaster this week.

I’m almost to the point of being nauseous by all the twists and turns.

One minute all hope is lost and the next I can see the silver lining in the clouds.

It’s enough to drive a person crazy.

I need to jump off. Plant myself on solid ground. Take stock of the blessings around me.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Breathe …..

and as my head clears, I realize life is good, happy, calm {amid the chaos}.

I’m loved.

My boys are safe.

We live in a wonderful home.

I can buy groceries, gas and shoes for my kids.

My job is going well.

Life is GOOD and it’s time to change my perspective.

  1. Sometimes we really do just have to stop everything to regain perspective. I will say a prayer that you find some peace.
