We’re closing out this months mission with an interview with a real stylish Mom Jill!
She knows how to rock her bangs and is a former Iowa girl, a combination that can’t be beat.
Vitals:
Name: Jill
Blog: The Diaper Diaries
Locale: Michigan
Family: Married, Mom to 3 – two girls and a boy
Style: Everyday Chic
What advice would you give our readers about changing their hairstyle?
First get a stylist you love and trust. I think you get what you pay for, but my hair budget is ugly. It sends my husband into shock on a monthly basis. So once you have the stylist, trust them when they tell you something will or won’t work. Then be adventurous together.
My personal style idol and hair icon is…:
Ooh that is a tough one. Probably Resse Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, or Jessica Biel.
Hair up or hair down?
Both. I probably do 50/50.
Describe your style in one word:
Trendy (although still classic and age appropriate, I’m not trying to dress like a 20 year old). I don’t do so good with the one word thing.
Do you base your hairstyle on trends, easy of use or what mood you are in?
All of the above 🙂
Do you have hairstylist loyalty or do you try different salons and stylists?
Total loyalty. Total.
One thing I hate about my hair is?
How gray it is. Probably about 60% so. But you won’t know it if I can help it (see hair budget above…….)
Oh, how I can sympathize with the gray hair….I blame it on the kiddos.
Isn’t Jill the greatest! Head over to Peanut Butter In My Hair to read the rest of the interview where Jill gives you her best style tools and tells you her history with bangs.
You can find Jill at The Diaper Diaries or join her on Facebook. She’s all the Rage on Twitter and Pins all sorts of things she will never do.

I love Jill’s hair! My hair appointments are rather expensive, too, but worth every penny! 🙂

HA! Mine are expensive too, I think if my husband knew how much they were he’d faint.
