Scenes: 3 Black Friday Apps to Make Your Holidays Better {Sponsored}

The countdown to Black Friday has begun. With only five days left, three of those spent working, I need any easy way to plot my attack.

In the past, my mom and I would wait patiently for the Thanksgiving Day ads to reach our doorstep. While the boys would watch football we would sit in our comfy chairs and look through large stack of glossy paged ads, making notes, lists and an itinerary. While this was an effective method, it wasn’t the most efficient. Now that I have kids quiet Thanksgiving days spent with ads have been replaced with Batman battles and LEGO building.

It’s time to find a more efficient way to attack the Black Friday madness.

Enter the cellphone.

According to Mobile Commerce Daily, on Black Friday last year alone, mobile shopping accounted for 16 percent of online sales and that number is expected to exceed 20 percent this year, and a recent U.S. Cellular survey showed that 39 percent of our smartphone customers use their smartphones for shopping.

Since I use my cellphone for everything from meal planning to tracking workouts and journaling it seems only natural that I use it to do something I love –  shopping.

But where do I begin?

I think the folks at US Cellular must have read my mind. They have provided me with some strategic tips on how your smartphone can become your best shopping pal. Here are some ways smartphones are helping users survive these sale shopping days without breaking a sweat or the bank.

Black Friday Apps

1. Black Friday App

My head practically exploded when I downloaded the Black Friday App it is THE one app to have at your fingertips. This free app is the ultimate Black Friday survival guide, enabling users to browse “leaked” and verified ads. It also allows users to price compare against the best online prices or find a store’s nearby locations with a tap. Using this app saves time and helps determine where to get the lowest price. {available for both Android and iPhone}

2. CardStar

Let your smartphone also make the checkout process hassle free with CardStar. Get rid of the store rewards cards you may have dangling from your keychain or filling up your wallet by loading them into this app and you’ll never lose time or savings searching for the card you need again. After the cards are stored, you can access them right from your phone and the cashier will simply use the barcode stored on the device.

3. Amazon Mobile

I already have Amazon Mobile, and I use it all the time. Mostly when I want to find out if I can find something online cheaper than in the store. It’s super easy to just zip through all my shopping from home on my smartphone or iPad so I can spend more time playing superheroes and eating pie.

Speaking of the iPad. US Cellular is now offering the iPad Air with Wi-Fi + Cellular. US Cellular offers The iPad Air with a range of attractive data plans that will allow you to connect to its fast 4G LTE network with speeds up to ten times faster than 3G. That means less time waiting and more time hanging with the family.

Additionally, the iPhone 5s, the most forward-thinking smartphone in the world, and iPhone 5c, the most colorful iPhone yet, is now available at all US Cellular stores.

With all these options Black Friday and Cyber Monday just got faster and easier, which means your Holiday Moments just got better.
