Back in March I wrote this post about the time change. About springing forward and losing an hour.
I think I might have also said some profound words on time and how it passes so quickly.
Well, today was no exception. Even with the extra hour the day flew by in a blur.
I had grandiose ideas of what I would do with that extra hour – read, knit, hang with the boys, do laundry, etc…However, I only accomplished maybe half that list before the day disappeared. Poof, gone.
And even though the day was gone in a blink and perhaps I didn’t get “the practical things” done.
I did:
Cuddle in bed with all the boys this morning.
Have a spontaneous dance party in the living room with the boys.
Bake the BEST pumpkin pie EVER!
Play Bob the Builder with E as he fixed Kinnick Stadium {I was Wendy of course}.
Hug and kiss ALL my boys a million times today.
So in the scheme of the day I’m satisfied with what I accomplished with my extra hour, even if I still have 20 loads of laundry to do.
>That pumpkin pie looks AMAZING!!
>What a well-spent extra hour. 🙂
