A {GAH!} Sound Bytes of the Week

I honestly can’t believe it’s Friday, because it feels like just yesterday it was Monday.

GAH!!!

There’s so much to do and no time to do it.

GAH!!!

Thank goodness for cell phones because in my five minute drive to work I called to get the brakes fixed on the car and I made a dentist appointment for E.

However, I still have twenty other things on the list that need to be done…like check the Kelly Blue Book price on the truck so I can FINALLY close dad’s estate, call and find an after school program for E {because there’s a two YEAR waiting list} and enroll him in spring sports….the list goes on.

GAH!!!

Oh and to make matters worse the eye twitch is back. This time in the right eye. Equal opportunity eye twitch I guess. I attribute it to stress {see above} and lack of sleep.

GAH!!!
Now that I’ve totally stressed you out and unloaded let’s lighten things up a bit shall we?

I have to tell you that I’m attending my first ever blogging conference. Yep, I’m heading to St. Louis for Bloggy Bootcamp. Unfortunately, my partner in crime had to bail due to extenuating circumstances, so it looks like I might be going solo…solo…unless YOU {anyone, anyone…} want to join me. Anyone…anyone…I’m really not that bad of a travel partner, I’ll let you pick the radio stations and where we eat … Let me know …

Well, before this post gets too long winded let’s get to this week’s Sound Bytes.

3. Me: “Did G’s pants attack you?”
E: “Yeah. But I got away.”
I thought this was hilarious. E said it so deadpan. Like “Yeah dude didn’t you just see me make my great escape.” He’s so funny and one day he will either be a comedian or a writer.

2. “Sometimes writing is just as much of a workout as going to the gym.”
Yes, there are days where I feel drained after a nice writing session, and the good thing is I don’t have to shower afterward.

1. “Hey mom, I’m flat boarding.”
I think the correct term is planking.

Well, there you have this week’s Sound Bytes of the Week.

Are you ready to link up?

So, do you have big plans for the weekend?

Our preschool has rented the local theatre so we can see The Lorax. Can I just tell you I’m so FREAKING excited. I can’t wait.

I’ll let you know how it was over coffee on Tuesday.

Until then keep on smiling.

  1. >Happy Friday! Milo's grade is going to see the Lorax this afternoon, provided school isn't dismissed early due to the weather. I hope it's not…

    Haev a super weekend!
