Happy Monday. I know you all are waiting on the edge of your seats wondering how I styled my 3 fashion trends from last week.
Well…it wasn’t easy.
I asked for help and basically the response was “oh, so glad you asked, I’ve been wondering about the fedora too.”
Hmmm….
Sounds like a few of you are having the same issues as me.
So, I did the leg-work for you.
I spent hours cruising Pinterest for outfits that were mom worthy. Sure there are ways to style the fedora, bib necklace and moccasin, but would I {or you} be able to wear them in real life?
So after much sifting and searching these are a few mom-friendly outfits I found that incorporate these fashion trends.
First up the bib necklace.
According to Pinterest the key to the bib necklace is to keep everything else simple in order to focus on the necklace
THE INSPIRATION
LOFT crop pants
Target t-shirt and sandals
Stitch Fix necklace
Next I tried the moccasins.
Out of the three trends the moccasins have to be the easiest to style. My only issue, especially since I am still trapped in the Polar Vortex, is the fact that I can’t wear them with socks. So, that means they will be more of an early spring or late fall type of shoe. Because the moccasin is a casual shoe, again I kept it the outfit simple, but I did try to incorporate a little fun, note the feather earrings.
THE INSPIRATION
Tulle Sweater
LOFT shirt and jeans
Target moccasins
Lastly the troublesome Fedora.
I could have easily went the easy route and just paired my fedora with jeans and a black sweater, but I was looking for something more springy. I might even wear this to work
THE INSPIRATION
Via Carah Amelie
Target Chambray shirt, white t-shirt and sandals
GAP green crop pants
Well, there you have it. Sqeeeee! I’m pretty excited to add these three trends into my fashion line up. So, how about you? Feeling inspired?
Share your photos on Instagram and tag with #msfiles and we will give you a shout out here next week.
I reeeeeally like the necklace on you! I was wondering about the ‘bib’ necklaces, and now I know how it can brighten an outfit. I bought a straw-y fedora last summer, and now I’m going to try it out : ). I love your style posts!
